Description

Samsara’s Path is an upcoming atmospheric puzzle game, with a fresh new spin on the genre of escheresque puzzle games. At it’s core Samsara’s Path is a classic puzzle game where you have to move the character to a goal. What makes Samsara’s Path unique is the use of hexagonal 3D tiles with dynamic rotatable bridges. Combined they create an impossible structure of interwoven pathways. Inspired by games we love, like Monument Valley and Alto’s Adventure, Samsara’s Path combines minimalist visuals and challenging puzzles. Across 100 levels the player will move through 3 different environments, uncover secrets and encounter additional mechanics like switches, locked and interlinked tiles that add to the games complexity.

History

The development of Samsara’s Path started in August 2017 by Julius Bettin, Nicolas Nolte and Julien Sander as a sideproject, after the games tile coreconcept emerged as a byproduct of a university project. Work on the project was done in varying intensity, sometimes with a half year stop, leading to problems disappearing because unity’s features have been upgraded in the meantime. The game will be released on 20.02.2025 on the Google Play Store.
